- Born Michael Joe Davis - A mainstay in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama, with Tommy Lane as the Rock 'n' Roll RPMs holding many Tag Team Championships - Great feuds with the likes of the Rock 'n' Roll Express - In the latter part of his career, Davis worked out of the historical Sportatorium in Dallas and donned the moniker Maniac - Davis helped bring along countless numbers of green, yet talented, athletes, his main contribution to the GWF and to Wrestling Entertainment was his preparation of future stars, several of which have held various titles in more mainstream brands - Davis has possibly been in more GWF matches than any other wrestler on their respective roster - Following the folding of the GWF, Davis dove into several different start-up promotions, doing what he could to help, teach, advice on gimmicks, and being the experienced in-ring worker to give nervous kids some comfort in exploring their in-ring abilities - Spent his last days in Granbury, TX (located just outside Fort Worth Texas) |
