- Prior to entering wrestling, Alexis Kaufman was a professional fitness model and competitive bodybuilder, including several appearances at the Arnold Classic. - She signed a developmental deal with WWE in May 2013, and reported to its Performance Center in Florida to undergo training. Kaufman was given the ring name Alexa Bliss and began wrestling at live events for WWE's developmental brand, NWA SAW, during late 2013 - Bliss made her televised NXT debut in May 2014 as a babyface, with an elaborate fairy-like entrance during which she wore a tutu and blew gitter out of her hands toward the camera. - She abandoned her wholesome image and turned heel in May 2015 when she aligned herself with the Tag Team champions, Blake and Murphy, helping them defeat Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady to retain the titles at the Takeover: Unstoppable event. |
